At Glowden Doodles we believe in using ENS or Early Neurological Stimulation and socialization training to ensure you get a puppy that has the tools needed to handle new situations with ease.
Early Neurological Stimulation is a process of holding and touching the puppy in their early days to get them used to be helped by people and help them learn that being handled in many different ways is not something to fear from humans. The Process was pioneered by the US Army for their K-9 programs and is proven to help develop stronger hearts, Stronger adrenal glands, Stronger stress tolerance, and better disease resistance.
Socialization means we introduce puppies to new people and new dogs and new situations regularly to help them find a good way to deal with newness.  A puppy that has learned to deal with newness will adjust to a multitude of situations better than a dog that only knows its mom and one human. We have a whole family here that helps handle and nurture each litter of puppies.
A puppy that has undergone ENS and socialization is less likely to be hand shy as an adult and less likely to be aggressive to strangers. Ongoing handling and training are important to all dogs, but starting early makes it easier.
